In 2014  I hired the landscape crew to cut down 4 huge pine trees about 60 feet tall (18 m).

The roots of 3 pine trees in front of the yard was digging into drive way

and one in the side of the house.

About five workers working so hard all day to cut down and grind the branches

all day to finished the job.

I never saw American workers working so hard that cost $1,600 was well spent for my house.

Once the landscape crew finished with work, my front yard looked almost like battle ground.

I found myself doing yard work any spare time I have on weekend and vacation days.

I must gone to Home Depot hundred times that year. It was tough for physically that I lost

about 4 kg weight in process. After digging out some of the roots, with my small Nissan Altima

transported all the bricks and trees from the Home Depot to placed and planted.

In following year in 2015 I was able to completed the landscape in my front yard.

I must used 200 bricks, 45cm x 45cm x 5cm thick in size, 18 kg each weight, laying down 

in both side of drive way to protect the drive way from intrusion of grass or weed,

sort of buffer zone.

That was my idea anyway and it seem to be working.

This place was tree trunk located so I made the little flower bed to hide as well as better appearance.

The biggest challenge here was transport 4 of 2m tall pine trees from Home Depot

to home one by one in my Nissan Altima.

The back yard took me a few years to finished the work.

It was natural choice for landscape as it facing south sunny side.

After it took while digging out existing bushes that unmanageable existing bushes,

I must planted about 20 evergreen hedges. I have been enjoying flower garden

as planting over the years tulips, sunflowers, amaryllis, dahlia, gladiolus, lily....

My house has four car garage with small house; two attached garage and two detached garage.

On two attached garage I cleaned and washed the floor and painted later on. But detached garage floor was asphalt, very strange so it took for a while to figure out cave in floor place where car park.

I was able to do only do one section. I will expected to be done by before summer this year.

It turn out to be bigger project than I expect initially.

After all I think it worth while the effort.

Sometimes I have seen the deer in my backyard. They are one of animal that damaging

garden flowers.
